6 Months Old...Are You Kidding Me!!!

 

 

 

 

My Sweet Baby Charlotte is now 6 months old!  I'm a little behind in my blog, but better late than never.  We now have a little girl who has two little teeth, sleeps through the night in her bed, can sit up on her own and can now roll over both ways!  She is so full of life and continues to amaze us every single day!  She is getting so big...we had her check-up this past Monday and is 18.1 pounds, 26 1/4 inches long and continues to have a huge head at 17 1/2 (95%),  I just say we are growing a big and smart brain in there!  We started cereal feedings at 4 months and added veggies/fruits by month 5.  We just graduated to the second gerber foods and are loving the puffs and freeze dried yogurt.

 

 

We took our first family vacation to Pensacola Beach, Florida from April 26-May 3.  We had a great time, minus some of the worst thunderstorms we have ever seen and Little Missy just slept right through them.  We even had a tornado warning...in Florida!!  Pensacola had around 15 inches of rain in a 24 hour period...the air force base and schools were closed...crazy!  Here are some pictures from our trip:

 

 

Mommy Update:

I am no longer breast feeding...we started supplementing at 4 months and I got mastitis two more times...so I said I was done with being sick and by 5 months we totally transitioned to formula!  I am three pounds below my pre-pregnancy weight but have a long way to go before I look/feel like I did before I was pregnant...crazy how much different you look once your hips have spread to let an almost 8 pound baby come through.
